Camera Mount
Well, my girlfriend generously bought me one of these from Chasecam.
I expect to be doing a lot more video work. I've been wanting to do this for a long time, and now I have some equipment I want. I've even recently upgraded to a 500gb HDD for my computer, so I also have the room to stick all these videos.

A little GT Motoring
Went to GT Motoring today for a meet. I had no idea they existed, much less were 5 minutes from my house, until earlier this week when I was working on a friend's Fit and he mentioned they got a GTR. Later I found that Illia posted on CW that there was a meet on the 6th. So, sure enough I went. Met up with some guys there and hung out. Good turnout I'd say. So many stock S2000's though. Although I kind of wish I got one, I do like being the only MR-S.

GT Motoring's new GTR. Only 73 miles on it. I must say though, I'm not as impressed with it as I would have thought. It's too... boring and large for me. Yeah it's fast and all, but something about it just doesn't sit with me. I'd rather have an older R34/33/32 over this, or even a 911 or something. I don't know, its too much Nissan for that price, doesn't have enough exotic car in it for me.
GTM Evo X. I'm fairly sure it's a time attack car, but I honestly don't know. Looks cool though. Not as ugly as the STi is.

Anyway, work is boring, so I thought I'd update you guys with what I did today.
I can't wait until I get some money for wheels and a real suspension setup. I'm looking into some RPF1's in 16x8 +38. This car has them in the rear, and 16x7 +43 in the front. I'm thinking 16x8 all around and a small 5mm or 10mm spacer in the rear. Still have to actually measure, but I'm lazy and RPF1's are kinda boring...

I found this over at Fatlace. It's quite an interesting read. I'm amazed on how many of todays youth falls for this shit. It's sickening. Everytime I go in there with my girlfriend, I feel the need to projectile vomit over everything. Everything is so... fake. Ask my girlfriend about the fake bitch who greets you. I make sure my comments that should be inaudible, are quite audible. haha. Fuck fake bitches, spray tans, and hair color the same orangey hue as their skin.

Lower
Well I lowered my car temporary on some Espelir Active Super Down springs with the stock shocks. (I know, big no-no) They claim a 50mm drop front and rear. The spring rates are 2kg/mm front, 3kg/mm rear. Initial driving impression is that it feels very much like stock when daily driving. They are a bit stiffer in corners, but very livable for the average driver. I think this height looks like it should have come from the factory.

City Life
went to another ChicagoArea240sx meet last night. awesome turnout (many i didnt get pics of) and awesome drive to chicago. doing 110+ mph chasing down the yellow ITR with the jdm front (seen below). so much fun. we had all(?) of Risky Devil join us. though all their cars weren't there. no excuses

Ill Garage
I headed out to the new Ill Garage yesterday. Cool place. Like Tommy said, they need a larger place to work. It is pretty much confined to a showroom where they work on the cars as well as sell stuff.
Anyway, the shop looks pretty good. Can't wait until I can order some coilovers to lower my car already.

Sometime last night/early this morning(8/05/08). My good friend Trucky's S13 was stolen from outside of his house. The car was highly modified and was stolen from the southwest Chicago area. He has poured tens of thousands of dollars into his car and countless of hours of working on it.
Hes frozen his balls off, and sweated till hes dehydrated multiple times during the cars build, not to mention the hours of overtime to justify paying for the parts. He had just recently finished building it up to his standards and its unfair that some low-life ____ can just show up and take it all away before he could even enjoy it.
If you guys could keep an eye out for the car and its parts we'd really appreciate it. It has many highly distinguishable parts on it that their surely gonna try and sell.
Heres a few pics of the car.
Some of the mods include, Redtop SR motorset with all the boltons, Ebay FMIC/coldpipe, Hks SSQV with custom hotpipe, 3in downpipe, Apexi N1 exhaust, D-drug coilovers(this is one of the only set left in the midwest, you can tell them apart by the remote reservoirs and red/gray shockbody), Blue DT05R wheels 17x8.5 in the front 17x9.5 in the back.(This is also one of the only set of DT's in the midwest right now), Origin stylish side skirts, rear bumper, 30mm rear overfenders, and V:S Ver IV replica G-corp front bumper, Obviously the car also had a silvia conversion with Dual projector headlamps, and oem metal front fenders and hood.
